September 2005 - The Explorers went to Merseyside's annual camp.
A combined team of Explorers and Scouts entered the County Camping and Backwoods Cooking competitions.
August 2005 - 1st Atherton headed off to the Isle of Man for a packed week of activities. A great Summer Camp!
At the Atherton and Tyldesley AGM, 1st Atherton gave presentations on the 2004 summer trip to Finland and Russia. The Mayor handed out several awards.
May 2005 - 1st Atherton joined up with Bolton Scouts again, this time for the opening camp at Bibbys Farm, Bolton's new site. We took our climbing tower along as one of the many activities.
Conway Scout Fellowship Anniversary Camp 1st Atherton took the climbing tower to the Conway District Scout Fellowship Anniversary Camp over the 2005 May Bank Holiday weekend.
Climbing Tower at the Outdoors Show 1st Atherton once again provided one of the Climbing Towers for the Outdoors Show at the NEC Birmingham, March 18-20, 2005.

September 2004 - All sections from 1st Atherton joined up with Bolton Scouts for the last ever camp at Hulton Park. We took our climbing tower along as one of the many activities.
September 2004 - The Explorers went to Merseyside's annual camp.
Summer Camp 2004. 1st Atherton went to Finland for Tarus, the Finn Jamboree. We then spent a week in Helsinki and had a trip to St. Petersburg in Russia. Click on the title for more details.

Grant for building refurbishment and climbing tower In 2003 1st Atherton Scout Group were awarded SRB5 grant money from Atherton Building Communities towards refurbishing the building and the mobile climbing tower. |
